Workshops

Our Career Development Workshops are designed to open the minds of young people to the possibilities and options around them and beyond. The sessions equip them with the essential knowledge they need to kickstart and navigate their career paths successfully. Our workshops cover a range of career topics and assessment sessions and by participating, the youths gain practical insights that can help them make informed decisions about their futures.

Mentorship

Mentorship is at the heart of KRCN’s mission. We connect young individuals with experienced professionals who provide personalized guidance, advice, and support. Through one-on-one mentoring relationships, mentees receive the encouragement and direction needed to build confidence, set goals, and achieve their career aspirations. Our mentors play a vital role in shaping the next generation of African leaders.

Capacity Building

Our Capacity Building programs focus on enhancing the skills and competencies of young people to prepare them for the workforce. We collaborate with institutions to offer training in areas such as soft skills and technical skills, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to meet the demands of today’s job market. These programs aim to build a resilient and capable youth population ready to take on leadership roles in their communities and beyond.

Advocacy

We actively work to raise awareness about the dangers of poor career choices, challenges that youth face such as unemployment, lack of access to education, and career opportunities. Through our advocacy efforts, we engage with the youths, stakeholders, policymakers and communities to promote policies, awareness and initiatives that support the socio-economic development of African youth.

Empowerment

KRCN plans to empower young Africans in the nearest future by offering scholarships to higher institutions of learning, vocational schools and technical skill. We also plan to offer grants to budding entrepreneurs to help them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to take control of their careers and futures. Through our various initiatives, we help youth build self confidence, develop a positive mindset, and become proactive in pursuing their goals, ultimately transforming them into responsible and impactful leaders.

In all our programs and projects, we strive to build a positive mindset and support mental well-being, working to counteract misconceptions like the ‘School na Scam Theory’ and combat issues such as youth cyber fraud, school dropout rates, and lack of direction among Nigerian youth.
